From lab to scale-up: a decade of applied R&D

At ADRASA, innovation means translating chemistry into performance — and performance into sustainability.

Over the past decade, we have developed multiple R&D projects in collaboration with brands, mills, and institutions across Europe. Each initiative represents a step toward more efficient, safer, and eco-conscious textile processes.

Our R&D Milestones

2012 Project ANCLATEX (Eureka CDTI EI7215)

Development of innovative anchoring systems for textile coatings, improving adhesion and durability while reducing environmental impact.

2015 Continuous dyeing process with dual-system bath (CDTI)

Optimization of dyeing processes using a single-bath dual-system approach to reduce water and energy consumption.

2017 Simultaneous desizing and low-temperature bleaching (CDTI)

New technology allowing lower-temperature preparation of fabrics, saving energy and improving process consistency.

2019 High solid Formaldehyde-free textile binder (EUREKA – E!13226)

European project endorsed by the EUREKA High Level Group, developing advanced binders for textile finishing without formaldehyde or VOCs.

2022 Circular economy R&D projects (ACCIÓ)

Participation in the Nuclis d’R+D d’Economia Circular initiative, focused on waste reduction and resource recovery in textile finishing.

2023–2024 Project rCAFÉ (MITECO – NextGenerationEU)

Research on the process of coffee waste valorization.

Funded under the Circular Economy Grants for Companies 2022 by the Ministry for Ecological Transition and
Demographic Challenge (MITECO) within the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR), financed by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.

Duration: 01/02/2023 – 19/06/2024 Granted budget: €161,578.00
