ADRASA has been selected as a beneficiary of PERTE Textile, in Category A: Research and Development, an initiative promoted by the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, through the Biodiversity Foundation.
The approved project, titled “Research on biobased textile auxiliaries and finishes”, is part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan and is co-financed by the European Union through the NextGenerationEU program.
With an eligible budget of €452,476.20 and aid granted of €226,238.10, the project will run until April 2027, and aims to advance towards a new generation of more sustainable, durable and fluorine-free chemical products, applicable in the finishing of outdoor and technical fabrics.
Innovation with positive environmental impact
The project reinforces ADRASA’s commitment to research applied to textile sustainability, focused on the creation of eco-efficient omniphobic treatments.
These solutions seek to replace traditional technologies based on fluorinated compounds, reducing the environmental footprint and improving the technical performance of fabrics.
In addition to chemical research, the project includes industrial validation and technology transfer phases, ensuring that the results can be implemented directly in the production processes of textile companies.
Commitment to the circular economy
PERTE Textile is part of the state and European effort to promote the circular economy and the decarbonization of the industry.
Being selected in this call recognizes ADRASA’s ability to lead R&D projects with a strong environmental and technological component, aligned with the European objectives of sustainability, efficiency and industrial resilience.
